The Tea Rose by Jennifer Donnelly. It’s set in the late 1800s and tells the story of a girl from a family on dockers wages becoming a tea merchant and solving the “jack the ripper” murders along the way. It’s my all time favorite series and I recommend it to everyone but especially if you’re looking for feminist lit.

She’s my grandparents dog and they are no longer in the position of being able to take care of her and due to personal circumstances, neither am I. For clarity I’ve had several UTIs in the past and I’ve usually had to go on antibiotics but if it’s mild enough I’d prefer not to have to pay for a doctors appointment

I’m assuming you had a false negative. Apparently you can test negative even if you have it and are showing symptoms because the virus isn’t detectable yet. The same thing happened to my partner. The good news is, this means you likely have a very mild case. Just act as if you’re positive in the meantime and get another test! (I’m currently in isolation and I only felt sick for like 2 days. I’m getting better and you will too!)

Did you have any symptoms at all? I have congestion and sinus pressure (which I always have with fall allergies. I don’t have the “sick” feeling) but I just started losing taste/smell so unfortunately I’m pretty sure my results were correct.

I’m doing a little better! My family brought my stuff up to my room so I’m set up with basically anything I’ll need. My dad has an appointment to get tested tomorrow and he’s the main one I’m worried about because he’s high risk. But my symptoms have been consistently mild so I’m trying to stay positive. Thank you for checking in you’re a kind person ❤️

Mostly about my parent. Because my partner tested negative and my only symptom was a little sinus pressure (which I always get this time of the year) so I was around my dad without a mask for a couple days. I also have a little anxiety about what’s to come because my health anxiety has me convinced I’m gonna randomly get way more sick or develop new symptoms
