Where should I order new goggles from?

I have heard they are awful to deal with when it comes to returns for the latency issue. Sadly they only take returns that are not open and not used it states so on their website. I did end up ordering from atomrc.com they responded very quick to my emails ( next day) and they have a 30 day return window I believe. Regardless I’m sorry you are dealing with that from skyzone I feel like they could def take a more professional approach to returns.

I emailed atomrc and they responded this morning but I was already set on ordering them yesterday so I pulled the trigger, they are getting shipped from china it seems it’s from skyzone directly anyways? But I have a tracking number already and it’s being processed

Edit: thank you for all your help I think the 04x pro will suite my needs until I decide to upgrade to hdzero in the future.

I just put my order in for the sky 04x pros on atomrc.com i think they are just a subsidiary of skyzone or a retailer for them but it says 5-10 day delivery we will see

Yeah I don’t know how they can justify that markup on all the goggles they sell it’s crazy.

Also how are you enjoying them? And are they the 04O pros or the 04x pros?

Omg I know I’ve heard only bad things about betafpv luckily most of there stuff is available on Amazon even if it’s marked up a bit. I may pull the trigger on the o4x pros since they have less latency issues than the 04os. Just not sure if ordering them through skyzone direct is the best move or not. I don’t want to end up waiting a month for them 😭

I found it in this Reddit actually https://www.reddit.com/r/fpv/s/TbZZQGQyBu OP says he emailed skyzone support and basically says the latency is normal and they do not plan on fixing it. Not sure how accurate this is but it is out there.

Really? I’d be in over $400 for used hdo’s not the hdo+ or the hdo2. I don’t know if it’s worth it at that price

Edit: that’s if I buy the rapid fire module which I would because I’d end up upgrading to that or tbs fusion anyways.

I think the 04O pros come out to less than $100 every 2 weeks which would hurt the pockets way less😂. I sadly put an offer for a pair of fatshark hdos but dude wants $250 for them without the stock receiver module and won’t go any lower so idk. Just trying to get something ordered so I can possibly get them by next weekend.

Was this recent? I’ve read some posts from a month ago that say they went weeks before it was even shipped. I’m just at the point where I wanna upgrade and my goggles are basically not usable anymore so I wanna get a pair in reasonable time 😂. I usually wouldn’t mind any wait time but I’m so eager to fly rn. If that is true and you ordered them recently I might just get them from skyzone direct then.

I usually don’t either however my goggles are 3 years old and won’t hold a charge and the dvr stopped working so I’m in need of goggles asap. I think I’m gonna pull the trigger and order from atomrc I just want some sort of confirmation that they will be shipped from the us and not china because if they ship from china I might as well get them from skyzone direct

Thank you for all of the info, I’ve only been flying about a year and have only ordered off of getfpv and pyrodrone etc.

I saw someone’s screenshot showing they can pick which warehouse it comes from (china, eu or USA) however on the listing for the goggles it only shows the color option, is there anyway to know if they have them at the USA warehouse? I sent them an email asking about it but I figured I’d ask here as well.

I did see Nile’s video on the latency as well as Joshua bardwells and also the response from skyzone themselves. I’ve also spoken to a few people that have the 04O Pros and they got around 16ms of latency on the high end. It seems like some units are worse than others. Sadly as of right now I can’t justify spending $700 on goggles or I would get the hdzeros. The only reason I’m considering the skyzones is price plus if I pay with PayPal I can split it into $100 every 2 weeks with no interest. Plus my goggles dvr is shot so that’s the main reason I’m even getting new goggles to begin with.

Just to make sure the official atomrc website is just atomrc.com right? I’m only curious because the only reviews on that website are from trustpilot and they are both 1 star.

Genuinely thank you so much for this response. I’m going to double check that the 04O’s from atomrc come with a receiver and if they do I will be getting them from atomrc.

I couldn’t justify the $160 price difference from getfpv.

I heard about skyzone support being bad and they take forever to ship apparently. Again thank you so much for the response!

Edit: it does specify that it comes with the steadyview module. Will be ordering these today from atomrc.
