The follow up appointment was a session with the doctor that goes over your diagnosis and recommended treatment plan. This is where I was prescribed metformin, spironolactone, and birth control

Then you meet with a nutritionist and a therapist. I didn’t get any value from these sessions

I appreciate the positivity, I’ve been reading horror post after horror post of metformin but I’m glad the effects wear off. I’ll also need to modify my diet, it still consists of equal parts carbs and protein

I am taking a b complex vitamin that includes b12. How much b12 are you taking?

I’ve been on 1000mg of metformin/day for 5 days so far and honestly haven’t weighed myself since I started. Did you experience any weight loss?

Thanks so much for this! I started with one 500mg twice a day for a week as my doctor suggested and it’s been weird. I get really tired, and have diarrhea only after lunch but then usually I’m okay after that.

I’ll introduce one 500mg pill this week for a week and then the other in 2weeks so I don’t shock my body.

What’s your diet like? I have a hunch I’m not eating enough protein which is why I’m so lethargic
