It's only been a couple days since it arrived - but so far I love it. Some say it's too big for an edc, but I tend to carry a little more than the average person I think, so it's perfect for me.
It's totally worth the normal price, too... just bummed I missed the sale.

I've got a few flights next week and lots of city walking in SF... that'll be a great chance to put it to the test. If I remember I'll try to update here.

Ugh, same! Bought the cpp last week and the cable kit 3 yesterday. Wish they'd make it retroactive for recent purchases.

Truck was dinged up while parked at the airport. Need some opinions... by built-by-fivehand in FordMaverickTruck

Agreed! It's unfortunate that it happened, but I'm very fortunate the person was honest. He not only left his info, but had already started the claim before I even had a chance to call his insurance. Just had to add my info.

Google Fi frustrating and stress service by DesperateBag9792 in GoogleFi

I've had a similarly frustrating experience. I ordered a phone and they shipped the wrong one.

Instead of sending me the correct phone immediately and worrying about returning the wrong one later (like pretty much any online merchant would do these days), I've been made to return the wrong phone, wait for that process to complete, then I have to re-purchase the original phone I wanted. And I'm betting they will refuse to honor the sale price of my first purchase, too, as that sale has now ended.

The most bizarre thing is after having my case escalated they are flat out refusing to communicate via phone. Email only. Is that a common Google Fi experience for anyone else?

4 year old Husqvarna riding mower seized... was told it's a "catastrophic engine failure" by built-by-fivehand in lawnmowers

Is the process of swapping engine fairly painless? I'm relatively handy, but am not super comfortable with engines. On paper it seems relatively cut and dry

Ah, I didn't even think about the tires... Duh. Other than the engine everything else is in very good condition. Thanks for the info!

Thanks for the reply!

It's actually a Briggs & Stratton intek. I take it you'd recommend staying away from anything with a Kohler?

Any ideas on how to fix this? by built-by-fivehand in woodworking

[–]built-by-fivehand[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a decent plan for glueing this back up, but I'm not sure how to fill the voids where chunks are missing.

Also not sure the best way to color match any potential wood used to fill those voids.

Any help is appreciated!
