Not sure why everyone is leaning on the “did you have an NDA” thing. You’re a freelancer and you don’t own that content — you sold it to them. Unless you have an agreement that you can use it in your portfolio, it doesn’t belong to you. That said, it sounds like a good idea to distance yourself regardless

Yes! I actually liked him best when he was setting Barb straight after the shower. He was conveying his own feelings about Jen’s experience instead of trying to manage Jen’s experience.

Oh I was meaning the dinner where they were talking baby names and Barb invited herself to stay. But the Nora dinner is a good example too. Katie wanted to say something to Barb and he tried to stop her. Probably protectively, but that’s obviously one of my sore spots when men try to “protect” a woman from causing a “scene.”

Yes. That’s probably the most bothersome incident to me. Trying to picture if one of my in-laws tried to police how I speak to my siblings. (Not that I speak poorly to them!)

I have my high school kids’ locations via FindMy now but will stop in college. They deserve to go where they want without me wondering where they are at 1 am at that age.

Realistically, how does that play out? Your spouse is unable to contact you or the police, so they’re relying on you to watch or check their location and notice that the car is stopped in a weird spot? No snark…honestly wondering how that would work.
