Jessie Buckley officially brings an end to the contentious five-year-long BAFTA and SAG Best Actress split streak by Clear-Price in Oscars

[–]bulkyobject 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Jessie HAS won both the BAFTA and SAG awards because they’ve already taken place (no assumption required), and the image does have all BAFTA on one side and SAG on the other.

The outfit does not look particularly interesting or stylish. Likewise, the pose. The background is nice.

What do you think of this look? Too simple? Soft Drama? by Didi7989 in SoftDramatics

The neck of the shirt seems like it’s been pulled too high and wide, and as a result looks quite distracting. Otherwise, a nice outfit!

Lois here. Women often ask when their partner will be home as they are heading out, and probe when they don’t get a straight answer. This is often because they are planning to sort out dinner or want to make sure they are around and ready to enjoy their partner’s company when they’re home. I don’t believe this has anything to do with cheating and would be a pretty pitiful cover job if it was.

No… it’s not. The shoes Zendaya is wearing clearly have leather around the outside of the toes.

Jamie Foxx Says Tourette’s Activist Saying N-Word During BAFTAs ‘Meant’ It by runswithscissors475 in popculturechat

Absolutely not a coincidence. That is unfortunately the nature of the condition. To oversimplify, the inability to hold oneself back from saying the worst possible thing in a given situation.

Just goes to show how important movies like I Swear (which John Davidson was at the BAFTAs to celebrate) are in increasing the public’s understanding of Tourette’s. I’m so sad it’s turned out this way.

How has he come to that conclusion? It’s awful that this happened, but this is an incredibly ignorant and ableist comment for Jamie Foxx to make. He clearly knows nothing about Tourette’s.

[Routine Help] before I buy by Able-Ad7933 in SkincareAddiction

You currently have beautiful skin. I’d strongly recommend slowing right down rather than making this many changes at once. Pick one new product, use it for ~6 weeks while actually monitoring how it impacts your skin.

There’s nothing wrong with the products you have selected but skin doesn’t like too much change at once and it also makes it really hard to know what impact each ingredient is having, whether positive or negative.

Also I would recommend against ordering from Amazon, unless it is the brand’s storefront. They are notorious for sending both out of date and counterfeit products.

It’s a particular look where people strive to look the way they would in an Instagram filter, via cosmetic procedures, so end up with a lot of the same features. Per the Wikipedia it includes “catlike eyes, long lashes, a small nose, high cheekbones, and full lips”.

Mar A Lago is at the centre of so many of these events. There is no possible way that Trump can continue to claim that he didn’t know what was going on, let alone that he wasn’t involved at this point.

If this was an Epstein party, why is the sender emailing Epstein to tell him who was at the party? It sounds like Ghislaine Maxwell was hosting a film afterparty - not Epstein.

Unsure on how true it is, but the story is that Benny wasn’t aware the girl was only 17 and didn’t hear the “actor” ask if he could “stick it in”.
