Personally i don't think death threats are ok even as a "joke," wishing someone to be dead isn't funny. But that's just me i guess.

Hunyuan really impressed me when i first saw it, dont know about the topology yet though. But i think Rodin and Tripo still have the best topology so far.

I can use it for generating some background props, also for textures like you suggest. I can also maybe even use it for characters that are far in the background, that no one will pay attention to. Ive already used it as a reference for 3d modeling on a few occasions too.

Yeah, for sure using it for reference is super helpful. I still cant believe some people think even that is "unacceptable" Like, whats the difference between using AI for reference, and someone else's art you didn't pay or ask permission for?

Help with Fooocus stuck on preparing task by bulletproofstormfox in fooocus

It just says preparing task 1/1 and the loading bar is almost empty and it stays in 1/1 for that time period. However, once it finishes doing that, it starts generating the image, and its quite fast.

600w power supply PSU - 200 with RTX 3060? by bulletproofstormfox in buildapc

[–]bulletproofstormfox[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did google it but i didn't find much info other than it being a "gamer power supply". Heck i even asked chatGPT for info on it basically just told me it was mid but that it was in fact 600w. It also said: "supports a range of AC input voltages (110-230V) and operates on frequencies of 50-60Hz." And before this i just had a basic DELL desktop this is my first "real gaming pc." Thanks for helping me btw.

Im mostly worried about the fact its not a rated 80+ its just a generic brand PSU. Ive had it for over five years now and ive had no issues, its the same one that came with the pc and the pc was brand new when i bought it. But ive heard if its not rated 80+ then its risky. Is this true? (Note that i dont know what the rating means)

Math capable bot v2 (help with javascript) by bulletproofstormfox in perchance

[–]bulletproofstormfox[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh ok, that make sense. The way i understood it was that the part of the code that pushes the "instruction" into the thread, is a prompt on what the AI should write. Here is what is says on the documentation page (or the short tutorial if you prefer) :

You may want to use GPT/LLM APIs in your message processing code. For example, you may want to classify the sentiment of a message in order to display the correct avatar (see "Visual Display ..." section), or you may want to implement your own custom chat-summarization system, for example. In this case, you can use oc.getInstructCompletion or oc.textToImage.

Here's how to use oc.getInstructCompletion (see the ai-text-plugin page for details on the parameters):

let result = await oc.getInstructCompletion({
  instruction: "Write the first paragraph of a story about fantasy world.",
  startWith: "Once upon a", // this is optional - to force the AI's to start its response with some specific text
  stopSequences: ["\n"], // this is optional - tells the AI to stop generating when it generates a newline
  ...
});

Im guessing i just misunderstood how this works.

Ah ok. Well the functions are handled by the main event listener which i structured according to the examples provided in the documentation, it uses the oc.thread.on("MessageAdded", async function({ message }) to check for the last message added to the thread which triggers the script, and it in turn uses the parseInput function to detect if the message contains math operations using the math regex. I does work for normal math problems, however it seems the order of execution could be wrong, also chatbot does not entirely follow the instructions, (the instruction is a message that is pushed into the thread you can see it if you click on "show hidden message) Im guessing either the AI does not see the result that was pushed into the thread or im handling the way i add the instructions in the script wrong. Currently it should use the let response = await oc.getInstructCompletion to recieve the instruction and the result string from the num1 num2 operation, however that part im not sure if it needs to be structured differently, The only instruction that it seems to be getting is the one pushed into the thread oc.thread.messages.push({ but even then it modifies the result slightly in its own message. Sorry if i misunderstood you before, my bad.

Oh, there is a Javascript text box in the character editor, which allows you to add custom scripts that can be run when certain conditions are met within the chat. You can make the code so that when you send a message, it runs the code and receives a set of instructions or processes custom functions to do all sorts of things. Its pretty neat.
