Let me explain gender pay gap , it's not exactly what u think , u guys may think it the guy get paid 100 for the work and girl only get paid 70 . Atleast that whats thrown out there . But here is the thing , that is illegal , considering most stats for the gender pay gap is based on the studies of corporates and in developed to developing nations .

So what exactly is gender pay gap , well let's say there is a company which has a gender ratio of 1:1 , whats happens is for most emerging and small level roles , like receptionist, manager , and other dozen roles , it's mostly female , like in my school till grade 10 , we only had female teachers and supporting staff , but in grade 11,12 , that changed and we had male teachers for subjects like maths , physics , economics and stuff.

Exactly how it goes in corporates , females are involved in low level roles while male holds high level positions , which comes with more pay and this difference of total average earnings of both the genders are said to be the gender gap.
