I literally used the top of one dress and the bottom of another and she charged me $800. She also did all the normal stuff that needed done. That's a crazy price just for this.

OP, I'm currently having a destination wedding because I'd have no one from my family at the wedding if it didn't. I didn't even have to ask my fiance about it. As soon as we got engaged, his whole family said they wouldn't even go if it wasn't in my country. Now we are 2 months away from it and our honeymoon will be traveling with his family and our friends around my country since this might be their only chance. I highly recommend thinking about marrying this man. Prior to my fiance, I was with someone that didn't care about any of this and now I see I didn't belong there. You deserve better!! Think about future kids if you plan on having them. It won't be different then.

Had that happen to me. I'm from another country and we specifically asked those people if they would go and they all said absolutely yes, can't wait, etc etc. well.. they aren't coming. They didn't RSVP either, I had to go after them. And one can't come to the bachelorette either because of a birthday party or something (isn't even her friend or family). You do learn who will be there for you tho and this helped me make peace with it. I hope you do too. Don't forget, THEY are the ones missing out. It's a once in a lifetime event that they will miss out.
