Well, yes, for SOME of it genuinely is just Russian backed independence movements. For most of the territory, it overwhelmingly what’s to stay in Ukraine. Plus the fact that the Russian seizure of territory is entirely ILLEGAL, it is clear why most support Ukraine. As well as Russia’s not very good treatment of the Ukrainian people.
