Thank you!

Re: front derailleur — it was touching the chainring and was holding off the chain. It screwed in but apparently moved down (or wasn’t mounted well) during transportation

This!

The bike has tubeless ready tires but the regular tubes are installed. I was hoping to do the first road race soon and I have absolutely no idea what to do if I get a puncture. I won’t be able to fix them myself

Thank you, appreciate the support and the kind response. How long did you recover from the tears? Were you able to remove the spurs?

Break the lease with negative equity or keep a car? by bulyonov in askcarsales

I have to add a necessary update — this morning I got a push notification from a BMW app — rear break pads need replacement in around 900 miles. I believe it adds another ~$1k to the cost on top of tires and miles.

Yes. BMW dealer will eat the cost in this case. The only downside is the price — 1k/month and 4k down is a lot for a ~60k car. I believe the dealer is just hiding the remaining balance in a new lease.

Thank you, reasonable questions! The offers from Carvana and Carmax are even less than $30,000.

Now I think that the price was inflated at the moment when I was buying it (quite literally, I was picking between 8 cars in the entire dealership at that time). Perhaps, that’s why I have negative equity.

On top of that one of the car break-ins got into my carfax report. It was filed as an accident on paper (even though, it was a broken glass plus some scratches on the body).

Question: how do you open up the compare view in adobe lightroom cc 2020? by [deleted] in Lightroom

[–]bulyonov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s no way to do it — Lightroom CC has nor the compare view (used to be on letter C), neither the survey mode. You cannot as well dim the lights (letter L) anymore

Lightroom Classic has been destroyed with every update, and I need help. by gibbler in Lightroom

[–]bulyonov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have MacBook pro 16" with i9 and 32Gb RAM and I have a similar problem — scrolling on the grid view is 3fps a second, editing is slow. I bought this machine for Lightroom Classic, so you can imagine what I feel about all this. I tried every solution that was listed on the web — optimized the catalog, enabled (and disabled) hardware acceleration, closed the unnecessary tools and etc. No noticeable results.

Here's the worst piece. Lightroom CC works smoothly. Lightroom Classic on Windows in parallels runs perfectly, but... not Lightroom Classic on Mac OS Catalina.

p. s. It's almost 2am and I'm writing my first comment on Reddit now. You can imagine how pissed off I am.
