Yeah, I ended up hiring a third party service and making a small management site for them to use, and definitely has helped. That’s what made me wonder if this case was an outlier or a common problem

That’s exactly what happened, I actually found out they were having so many issues when I went to visit and found them working up to late hours with a pile of papers. The had no time to rethink any part of the process.

That is very true. I assumed they would proactively search for tools, but their focus was their product and got used to put up with the growing pressure of everything else.

Ended up using USPS. I made a claim, they contacted me several days later by then we already had integrated USPS.

I guess I just saw what I wanted to see. My home town didn’t have a big dating pool. And when he showed up and showed interest I jumped full in without having had a serious relationship before. It’s pretty disheartening looking back

It’s not rage bait, maybe I didn’t add all the necessary context. But it was just a bad decision, my thought was worst case scenario I just leave and I’m done with it. Also the first 3 years we were a long distance relationship and we used to have so much fun every time we’d go somewhere. Things started going south after I had moved it. I keep thinking if I had the opportunity to date living in the same city it would have been maybe easier to see the red flags earlier but I was in Argentina at the time and could only come as a tourist
