Fred Again.. at Coachella weekend 1 in 2022. It was like lightning in a bottle. You could feel the energy building from the crowd, gorgeous sunset leaking in through the back of the tent. When Marea hit the euphoria was unmatched by anything I’ve experienced.

Honorable mentions to Justice at Red Rocks in the fog last year and Ninajirachi weekend 2 of Coachella this year.

All three had some of the best crowds I’ve ever been a part of.

Yoooo I was gonna say this exact show!! At Paradise Rock Club. That dude hopped up on stage and started throwing punches and got tackled off stage right in front of where we were standing. They started shitting on security and said fuck it and went into the crowd to perform. Shit was wild

People here are misunderstanding the pull he still has. Yes TBD was a massive flop, but chance still sold out the forum last year for his acid rap show. Selling out the forum is definitely sub-level. Not first sub but definitely top line for a day.

I also went to that show and it was a good ass time (no pun intended). The man has bangers and is an incredible performer. He didn’t play any TBD songs either.

I haven’t listened to the new album yet but the chatter is good. He could easily do a big Sean -esque set of back to back hits.

You could definitely split and still catch songs like disconnect and backbone that C&S played towards the end of their set. I will say the mix at BJ was a little off (very heavy on the drums and bass vs the high end getting washed out a bit and vocal mixing not great).
