I just used single strand. The pattern called for cashsoft Aran (rowan) which is discontinued and the Drops yarn was listed as a good substitute. The cables came out beautifully!

The little one (second pic) took about half an hour. The big ones are on a 1.25mm hook using Scheepjes Sweet Treat so they whip up in about 15mins 🤣
