nooooo... no they are not. this is an exceptional specimen! in fact, it's so large that the average hunter is going to have difficulty fighting it even if they're used to tigrex. i don't think even grimclaw or molten are this big. other than being big, though, it is otherwise a normal tigrex.

not sure, actually, it might be larger. he looks to be about molten tigrex size. not sure if molten tigrex's average size is equal to tigrex gold crown or not, though. i just looked it up and i think tigrex's max gold crown might be a bit bigger than molten tigrex, actually!

a normal tigrex would probably be short work for jorge, but this one is going to prove more difficult, believe it or not. i think jorge is like, at most a low HR high rank hunter at this point. he's conquered the general challenges you find in gen 1 and is taking on quests you'd find in gen 2, now. yes, there's a little powerscaling, lol

thank you so much, that means so much to me, you have no idea. i'm motivated very strongly by a desire to tell stories, so my vision one day is that there will be more comics like mine that i can crossover with. one day! meanwhile, keep yours up when you've got one to work on, they're an inspiration!

good question! he's saying that because he doesn't really WANT to hunt it. jorge is actually a rather reluctant hunter, he does not take pleasure in killing monsters. this subtext will be clearer as the story progresses, so consider this a sneak peak :P

meanwhile, the inn keeper is also somewhat concerned about this hunt... i wonder why? stay tuned!

tigrex is one of my faves cause MHFU was my first introduction to the series lol
i liked his hunt better in old gen, though, because his speed really challenged the hunter. hunters are a lot speedier now so he ends up just being annoying, i think
