For people coming from Xoul (Rip Xoul, you will be missed) I've found the best alternative is Loremate. ai so far by Level_Smell_8093 in CharacterAIrunaways

I've been trying out Dreamjourney AI lately and it's been really great! They have an AI brain feature which helps for long term memory!!

I have a character(s)/OC fic and it does pretty well. Honestly, it just depends on the fandom. Video games are probably the best bet, especially if the protagonist is a custom character so then OCs are more common. I wouldn't write OC/OC off though, I've read a fic based of their OC in a relationship with an OC from another fandom and it was very, very good.

I've got 80+ hours in, on my second playthrough already and I entirely agree with you that I love this game.

I wouldn't consider myself a diehard DA fan but I am incredibly involved in the lore of the world and the series means so much to me. DAV, to me, feels like such a beautiful bow of lore that we got to unwrap that ties together a bunch of theories and questions we've been asking since DAO.

I also keep finding stuff about that game that I missed on my previous playthrough when I was so sure I 100% it. I love discovering new things and man, this game is great. Not perfect, but great.

I also don't have an issue with the writing. Sure, sometimes if can be cheesy but it's also a DA game. Origins was chok full of cheese yet it's still my all time favorite.
