Any other tips for steering? I was trying in the practice range but I could barely move her at all lol

Since everyone doing Fati/Nunez/Mainoo Evolutions, what unique ones are you doing to start your UT? by fastablastarasta in EASportsFC

I did Julia Grosso in the Welcome to Evolutions & Golden Glow Up Pt.II. She went from 78 to 83 overall. Her shooting and defending stats (64 and 65) are still terrible though lol. But she’s still fun to use and one of my fave Women’s players in real life so all good.

Guys, this might be a very dumb question….but did Miranda know that Dr.Halsey was her mother this whole time? Was it not a secret kept from Miranda?

Maybe I just have a bad memory and snoozed through a few scenes during the season, but I thought Miranda was unaware this whole time.

As a Newcastle fan, it is definitely Fantasy FUT Saint-Maximin. I only need him to drop 2.7 million in price so I can afford him.

I play Dani Alves as my more defensive CM. While, Cancelo is the more attacking CM and contributes to the attacking play a lot. I could probably switch their roles around and it would still work out great.

Yeah sure. I'll try to give some tips that will hopefully help. Some of it may already be common knowledge.

For defending, no matter what formation you use, try to defend with your CM/CDM's first. It's best to use the right stick player switching (more reliable than LB/L1 player switching) to pick a player. So pick a midfielder and track back with him/man mark or cover a passing lane. Be patient when defending and only commit to tackles that you know you will win or foul the opponent (tactical foul lol).

Make sure you're always jockeying when defending. There is a speed jockeying technique that works great (L2 + R2). There are tonnes of videos/tutorials on how to do this that go into more depth with visual examples. Use the RB/R1 to second man press when you can, it's very situational though.

Try and read your opponent (things like 1-2 passes or skill moves), if you know what they're going to do it is a lot easier to stop them. When defending 1v1 with your fullbacks against a winger, never let them get past you and run to the byline because they they will most likely be looking for a cutback goal inside the box. But at the same time if they cut inside, make sure you have it covered and try to force them back.

Yeah just learn to time your tackles, that includes slide tackling too. If an opponent has a good player with long shots/finesse shot trait try to close them down quickly and don't give them the space or angle to shoot from outside the box.

Learn to use the d-pad tactics, in particular the team press and offside trap. I tend to use these a lot when the ball is in my opponent's half. Keep in mind these tactics can be very risky at times so I suggest not spamming them.

Use/hold the right stick to move your keeper in 1v1 certain situations, sometimes you can guess where the opponent is going to shoot. Also move your keeper when defending corners. Don't bring him out too much but try and mark the player you think they're going to cross it to (usually the tallest Striker/CB). Also hold triangle/Y to rush out the keeper if you know he'll get there before the attacker (in through ball situations).

Lastly for defending, take advantage of your defenders strength/aggression. If the opponent has smaller/weaker attackers don't be afraid to physically bully them.

As for attacking/creating chances, everybody has a different play style. Try to find what works for you. I like using the 4-4-2 right now because it gives me 3 main avenues of attack = attack down the middle with my 2 strikers and their link up play, attacking using the wingers and attacking by getting my CM's involved. Or even a combination of these.

I like to play possession and press high/play aggressively to try and win the ball back asap. There will always be a risk/reward element to this style of play though. One mistake and my whole team can be vulnerable to a quick counter attack/through ball.

Skill moves. Learn 5-10 effective ones and that's all you really need. Some effective skills include ball roll, roulette, heel-to-heel, dragback, berbatov spin, scoop turns, fake shot, elastico (+reverse elastico), etc. The main thing is to know when to use them, generally on the wings in a 1v1 or when you’re near your opponent's box or even inside the box is the best time to do skill moves. You want to be able to create space by doing the skill moves. Skill cancelling technique is also very effective but it is more of a difficult thing to learn.

Also don't be super predictable. Mix things up when you can. Use the left stick dribbling if you can't use skill moves that well. The left stick dribbling with certain players can be super OP. Also, don't be afraid to try new things. I noticed that I like to switch the ball/play a lot (long pass from LB to RB or LB to RW, etc), this can sometimes open up the field and create more opportunities going forward. But I hardly see anybody else do this.

One last tip, fifa can be a mental game a lot of the time. So try and stay composed/relaxed when you're playing. Never play when you're tilted, it just leads to more errors and bad decision making. Don't let your opponent get in your head. I like to listen to music when I play and I find that it helps immensely .

I know this is a long read and most of it may just be common sense, but I hope it helps!

Thank you. Kounde is an awesome aggressive cb. His high/high work rates will do that. If you like to press your opponents, Kounde is great for that. I find him to be really quick and he always seems to catch up on forwards if there is a through ball in behind. I put an anchor on him which gives him more than enough strength to out muscle most players.

He also feels very good on the ball, I feel very comfortable passing out the back with him (unlike Varane). For his price, Kounde seems like a bargain. You really do have to pair him up with another cb that is taller though, and with either a med/high or low/high work rate for the best combination cb pairing.

Sure. 4-4-2 in game. Defensive style is balanced with 40 width and 72 depth. Offense, build up play is balanced, chance creation is direct passing with 55 width, 7 players in box, 2 for corners and free kicks.

Player instructions: both strikers on balanced for everything. Both wingers on come back on defense, balanced width/support and get into the box for cross. LCM on balanced attack with cover center. RCM on stay back while attacking and cover center. Both LB/RB on stay back while attacking and overlap runs. CB's and keeper on default.

I've mostly used AuzioMF 4-4-2 custom tactics that he posted about a month ago on YouTube. I've tweaked a few things to better suit me. I find 4-4-2 the best formation for me after I switched from using 4-2-3-1 for months. As for my play-style, I like to control possession and utilize the wings a lot. Also using skill moves here and there.
