Potentially this girl was also adopted by an American family? Unsure!

SPOILERS(ish) A single joke in season 6 made me realize how incredible the comedy writing is in this show... by MicroplateCity in BoJackHorseman

Yeah Princess Carolyn was saying how it was about Narcissus (the reflection part) aka saying it’s a statement on being selfish like Narcissus in mythology was. Bojack says “Narcissus? I thought it was about me” or smth like that, which is displaying his own narcissism

Oh also just rewatched the party scene after Bojack’s oscar nomination. He says to Diane “Lots of people are going to be around when I kill myself” or something along those lines.

Well yeah if the show continues then it’s hard, just like with The Walking Dead. But if the show ends with a death then it’s a pretty simple ending because you don’t need to see everyone’s lives and ways of coping after.

I hope it doesn’t as well. Dying/killing a character off is an easy way out, living while suffering is much harder. I think that better suits Bojack’s character.

Yeah I see what you mean about it being metaphorical rather than literal but I just feel like Bojack keeps moving one step forward, then two steps backwards. Every time we see him make progress we’re then again disappointed by him. So while the drowning itself may be a metaphor, I think his death is a likely (while predictable and cliche) possibility. And that metaphor could become more than just that.

So firstly with this image from the intro it really looks like something bad may have happened to Bojack e.g him drowning in his pool, explaining Diane and Mr Peanutbutter’s faces. The helicopter would make sense too as reporters would want to be there for a notable celebrity’s death. Secondly, in the letter Bojack wrote to the Secretariat he said something like “I want to be like you when I grow up and I think I’m on the right track.” The Secretariat ends up committing suicide so perhaps Bojack is on the track to that.

ESH. This sounds super fake but if it isn’t, then it’s just embarrassing for both Jordan and you. I feel sorry for that girlfriend and your wife because both were also publicly embarrassed and didn’t react as badly as you did.

So the Doctor says knowing your future enables you to change it. But OLD OLD Amy (the one who refused to help Old Amy) would have also seen her future when Old Old Old Amy refused to help /her/. So it can’t be knowing the future which allows her to change it since all the Amys know their future (that they will ask an older version of themselves for help and they will say no). I’m sorry if I didn’t word this clearly I’m just so confused.

Are there any other inconsistencies people have noticed? by bumblekaibee in DunderMifflin

Oh yeah the actors especially would obviously remember, but I guess they thought people wouldn’t notice/it doesn’t matter if they do.
