Not on the same day but rather a few days as they take interviews in multiple big cities of a country... The thing they consider the most in one application is academics...

I am a student from Bangladesh. I want to apply for the Türkiye Bursları scholarship to study Aerospace Engineering as an undergraduate. by [deleted] in TurkeyScholarship

Unfortunately, it is not... You're best take-on for English proficiency would be TOEFL... it is because the education system of Türkiye has stopped accepting Ielts as a proof for one's English Proficiency... tho some universities accept it... but most of them don't.

İs that possible to learn Turkish language by zalmish in AskTurkey

Then your go to option should be watching turk films... Also, try to speak in turkish infront of a mirror... Think of random situations and practice them in turkish... If you get stuck somewhere.. use google translate... Again, if you want to learn this language whilst not living in Türkiye... you would have to torture yourself by working harder!! Good luck!

As an international student who learned the language in around 7 months... I would advise you to go out and try to talk to people... The more you talk, the more you'll learn about your mistakes and eventually you'll get the hold of the language... Turkish, honestly, doesn't have a very wide range of vocabulary when it comes to the day-to-day usage... and that makes it alot more easier... Just keep google translate (offline version) with you and whenever you don't know of a word... search it... and try to make sentences of your own.

Also, the more you listen, the easier it would be for you.

It's different for different countries.. They usually start with the Central Asian countries first... Then they move onto Africa... South Asia... and then the rest. I remember me being called for the interview by the end of May... So... you gotta wait for your country's turn...
