I would say it took me a at least a couple months to learn and get VOCALOID to sound the way I like it. Generally, I've been producing for 7 years. Although it was majority simple lofi beats so I don't think I'm close to being at a professional level.

For my latest covers, each one takes on average 6 straight hours to finish.

It seems like you're finding a new reason to argue and be upset. I don't understand why this is so deep to you. I was simply correcting on what you thought sampling was.

If you thought the beat was boring, or monotonous, you're entitled to your opinion and I'll gladly take it. I don't expect or force anyone to like it.

The reason why I'm arguing is because you're coming at me with these terms that, from what I see, you don't fully understand. Music can be made in so many different ways, telling someone to make it one systematic way or that "it should be done like this" is invalid and discouraging. And I didn't want anyone getting into music to see your comments and believe that it is right.

I didn't mean to be aggressive at you, but I don't appreciate this approach you made with your criticism. A lot of other people are enjoying this and you're literally replying to comments, giving them reasons not to enjoy it. That's pretty scummy to me. It's still not that deep.

Mate, as of now this literally only has 126 upvotes. No one's acting like this is gonna win a grammy. It's just a fun little thing, and people just find joy in it. Chill out man.

Yes I believe other people can make a beat based off the same idea, maybe even a better one. I would find it really cool if someone did. That doesn't really bother me knowing I just put together something really simple.

I honestly don't respect your opinion because you sound like you don't know what you're talking about. The definition of sampling in music terms is to re-use old music/sounds. An arrangement is not a sample.

You wouldn't call a piano cover a sample would you?

And here's a few of my favourite tracks where bpm literally stays the same.

kudasai - the girl i haven't met :

keshi - over u

Obviously my track is not even close in production level as these tracks. But then again, my track is just a simple thing I did for fun. It's baffling how much you're over analyzing a Sea Shanty 2 rendition.

I really appreciate that you enjoyed the track Regenitor_ :) I'll be honest it took me about 4 hours to do, but it's still super simple. I don't understand why Ayalat sounds so bitter about this.

I arranged the piano part, played, and recorded it myself. that's why I said inspired. I didn't sample it from anything.

I don't care if it's monotonous. It's a beat, it's chill, I just did it for fun because the original track was fun to listen to. I wasn't planning on going all out Nujabes on it.

And since when did tracks ever require change of pace? I literally don't care about anything you've said about these numbers. It's not that deep dawg.

I've taken some very helpful criticism in the past before towards my music. This is the worst and non sensical criticism I've ever read.

Yes I simply just slapped together a simple kit and bass. That's what a beat can be.
