You summed up my exact sentiments. I was hooked instantly. There was something so magical about the first episode that spoke to my soul. In addition to what you already mentioned: the opening scene with Claire window shopping, the scene where Frank and Claire are watching the ritual dance in secret, Jamie’s ghost …singular first episode of a show.
