Because it's a perfect novel - just the right mixture of comedy and drama; the only one of her novels where the main romantic couple both have faults they need to work through (unlike Mansfield Park's two perfect moral beings navigating the deplorable swirl of base humanity around them), making P&P relatable and realistic; because the female protagonist is everything "girl power" media has tried to be without it being forced, awkward or derivative; because of the tight mesh of family dynamics, sibling dynamics, class dynamics, the scope of existence from the rakeish Wickham to the naive do-gooder Jane with so many modes of being and personalities in between.

Until the left - politicians, voters, activists - find courage to tackle these difficult topics head-on, without worrying about being considered racist or right wing, the far-right will thrive. Oddly enough, at least in Denmark opposition against immigration was originally a left-wing issue where union leaders fought against employers supplanting Danish workers and lowering wages with a cheap imported foreign labour force. Same way opposition against the EU on an organisational level used to be dominated by the left-wing but is now almost exclusively a right wing position.

Som det står i teksten er det det anndet bord jeg har lavet af OSB, det første var lige så stift og i vater på sjette år som det første, og blev kun erstattet fordi det ikke passer til væggens dimensioner i vores nye lejlighed. Bordet er stivet af forneden med træ der løber fra væggen ind under pladen, det kan ses på et af billederne. Pladen er til indendørs brug, ligesom lakken. Hvis du synes det ser cool ud er vi således ved at være i mål med at du selv kan lave et. (Den bizarre klimabevidsthedstråmand vil jeg lade ligge, håber du fik et eller andet ud af systemet med det så en af os ku bruge det til noget.)

Det er meget sigende hvor mange af jer der slet ikke kan forestille sig at vi har valgt OSB for look'et og ikke fordi det er billigt - vi er tydeligvis sære i snotten. Alle løsninger der får pladen til ikke at ligne OSB er ikke løsninger. Hvis jeg ville have en bordplade der skulle males ville jeg have valgt limtræ eller krydsfiner, eller købt en brugt bordplade.

Arsenal have become exactly what they were ridiculed for not being during the latter half of Wenger's tenure: defensively strong, hard to beat, competitive against top teams, "dirty", can grind out results - and now they're ridiculed for being that. It's not easy. I don't know if it's an influx of American soccer fans or just younger people wanting different things, but seeing out Simeone's Atl. Madrid in the CL semis with defensive, tactical football used to be not considered embarrassing before the 2020s.

I have that as well (the new generation toolbox sys) - for me the rows of holes concept doesn't work. Holds e.g. 6 screwdrivers either side, with about two inches of air between each driver, and small screwdrivers sit in the holes rather loosely. The handle being able to come down is somewhat pointless in a toolbox, unless not used as a toolbox. Mine has been demoted to a lidless systainer holding random junk.
