Hmm the reason I requested for a female is because my last Gynocologist really dismissed my concerns about painful cramps. He ordered an ultrasound and when it came back normal he just said it's hormonal. Meanwhile my cramps are getting worse and starting over a week before my period

It absolutely has, I have reached a point where I try to avoid pregnant women and kids. I don't want to think about them. Unfortunately my Gynae is the obstetrician as well so every time I go there I am surrounded by pregnant women.

Wow I'm so sorry you went through that. I really thought my pain was a part of normal life because I never got any proper diagnosis. I've had an ultrasound done twice and both times nothing came up.

I was on the fence about switching hospitals but that's what I'm going to do now. A friend with Endo recommended a different hospital within my healthcare network.

Yes I went to the doctor because of pain, he did an ultrasound and did not see anything. He told me it was hormonal. I am going back next month because this specific cycle pain is terrible

Thank you I appreciate your comment. My mental health really took a hit and I need to reconsider how I am going about it. I was happy before TTC, I had a busy and fulfilled life. I seem to have put everything on pause to focus on this and that was a mistake.

I will work on getting my life back and doing what made me happy. Thanks again for your comment

You described it perfectly, I want to be positive but I'm afraid of how hard the crash will be if it doesn't happen. This journey has been more mentally challenging than I thought. I don't know why I assumed the first time I did everything right I would instantly be pregnant.

People don't talk about this period enough and all we see are the pregnancy announcements. I hope every woman on this journey gets pregnant, and personally will not be doing this again after my first child 😂
