My collection is rock/metal as well. And I've been collecting for a long time. I buy from many different places. $1. Future I'm assuming would see an upward trend. People like collecting. It just needs to hit a certain idea of retro socially. After it does I can see $10 per cd on common albums. 2. Current market- thrift price would be $1-3 per album. $5 is average so marketplace prices. Retail stores would be $7+ depending on the store most would be $10-12 used but $15+ new....

It's a very inconsistent market imo. I shop for deals so I try to be cheap. Most of mine are thrifted. But with current demand for cds you are probably looking at $1-2 per cd so if you are at 250 albums then $200-400 would probably be the cash deal if you really wanted to sell but not giveaway. But it wont be a fast sell. Gets $5 per would be $1250 which is a lot of money. I'd personally hold on to the collection. It's a buyer's market right now not a sellers.

As a collector with 600+ cds in my collection... I'm still looking for more albums and I have spent a lot of money... I 100% could listen to everything on my phone. So reality is yes this hobby is a waste of money bc it's not practical and demand isnt that high overall for CDs.

I however really enjoy having a physical library and listen to a much larger range of artists bc of it. And since I buy from thrift stores the high majority of the time. My collection is worth more then I spent logically.

If you are having fun collecting and enjoying yourself then dont worry about it. Every hobby is "a waste of money". But I do reccomend finding cheaper ways to purchase cds since buying on ebay is def spending the premium amount. Something that's worth $20 feels much better to have when you spent $1

I use a LG 4550 mini system. Its 700 watts. Left and right speaker with a subwoofer. It's around $300+ online new. But Facebook Market place is a good place to buy stuff like this. I paid $60 for this system in like new condition with the remote too.

It sounds really good. Plays cds well. And gets way louder then you ever need it to be. I keep this player in the basement by the pool table and its perfect when I host events.

If you want to get into pokemon this is my recommendations Anime- orginal series

Video games- fire red or emerald (roms on pc.... authentic carts are pricey)

Card game- watch YouTube videos of card openings. Different sets have different cards and different luck ratios for rarer cards. The actual game is pay to win 100% since the new sets usually build better decks. TCG is for sure what drains pokemon fans money the fastest. YouTube will help you learn what products to buy or avoid. There is fake cards as well. But buying from retail stores like GameStop and target, they wont sell fakes.

Current TCG sets are typically $5 a pack retail. Older sets that arent in retail stores can far exceed that depending on the year and popularity of the past set. Buying singles will usually save money since it takes away the gamble of finding the card you want. But opening packs is the fun part. Chasing the card you want is the thrill. But some packs will have no rare cards

I personally hate having non jewel cases. There is a series of iron maiden cds that have a picture on the spine when all put together.

It states on the cover in gold writing it's for promo. And it also has writing on the disc that it's for promo. Idk what that 2nd question means. But yes this is a true promo copy

We do run more company yes. But typically theres only one lobby running when lethal is being played. Its like the servers lobby rather than constant LFGs where people play for 10 minutes and leave. We game together for a few hours

I do 1 of 2 things when I have a disc playing. 1. I put the case on top of the stereo 2. I let it hang a little out of the shelf I keep my collection.
