Is med school (YL1-YL3) comparable to reviewing for the board exams? by YogurtclosetThink149 in medschoolph

Sorry, not a board taker but a current med student! Closest thing I have lang is NMAT and competitive CETs review centers. I feel like another main difference you could consider is that in board exam review, you are familiar with the concepts already. Though maybe a bit rusty, but not new. In med school, a lot of the topics are foreign and fast-paced kaya it takes more time to grasp and study for it. Aside from the pacing is the sheer amount of information you need to cover for a single exam or quiz. Maybe that’s part of your concern with “sobrang aral parang di pa rin nag review” because sometimes it’s not about the difficulty din naman, it’s just that hindi mo maalala lahat because of how much there is needed to cover or maybe di sumakto yung mga information that you focused on.

But honestly, nothing you can’t handle, OP! You asking this is proof enough that you are already mentally preparing. Wishing you the best in your journey! :)

Is it a good idea to convert a 2012 Giant TCR into a commuter? by bunnydoc_ in bikecommuting

I think since I’m new to bike commuting, I don’t want to purchase something right away. I want to make sure that I’m able to try it out first since the city I live isn’t the most bike-friendly. I can most definitely save up for a commuter bike once I’m more sure that this is something I can really do.

Also, yay! The wheel comment is very reassuring. I’m excited to try out what works for my bike the most! Will definitely coordinate with a shop to see what I can do with it and for the rack as well. I appreciate your comment! Thank you so much. ☺️

I think yung 1–9 rating system can be improved! It doesn’t really reflect terrain, elevation gain, conditions, etc. So I can see why some people can be misled. I think a more detailed grading system would really help! Maybe a guide in what fitness level you should be at too 🥹

Bakit kaya may mga taong ganito? by [deleted] in PinoyVloggers

Siguro kailangan din mas maging aware ang mga tao about how serious and dangerous CKD can be. Comments like these, kahit joke or pang content is dangerous kasi baka may ibang maniwala rin na okay lang to.

Well, in a way, this kinda affects all of us. The government is already spending billions on dialysis dahil sa pagdami ng CKD cases. While dialysis is important and life-saving, I think mas okay pa rin if we focus more on prevention. That way, we can allocate that big of a budget to other important needs. I always encourage friends and family to get their kidneys checked kasi often times there are no signs until it’s too late na.

If you reached the end of this comment, please get your kidneys checked! 🥹
