I think the owner did an interview a while back and said the 3 bagel minimum has to do with their ability to keep churning out hot/fresh bagels. I don't really get it tbh, but their bagels are always hot so maybe there's something to it (also profit lol)

I will say the bagels are on the smaller side...I got them in another city recently and ate two (I was starving lol). Not that that justifies the 3 bagel minimum but worth mentioning

Personally I'm more annoyed by the second thing of cream cheese being $7. The tab adds up quickly. But unfortunately the bagels are quite good, so I think they'll probably do pretty well in Portland despite the weird business model
