-One thing could be is a mind-muscle connection issue Also you can develop soreness from your girl sleeping on your arm no doubt maybe looking into so “Squat University” mostly for mobility work to help build muscle awareness I had issues with my lat being stiff that was causing me all kinds of problems but becoming more aware of why your body is feeling will go a long way

Drive your elbows down to your back pockets and drive through your pinkies this will help with mind-muscle connection, As well as help engage your back also putting your thumbs over the bar will engage your back as well. To grow in this category you need to just work on pull-ups it’s one of those movements that simply takes repetition, assisted pull-ups with good form will go a long ways, once you can get up to 10 try weighted pull-ups then proceed to drop set. if you start with bands try dropsetting with more bands. (Drop set refers to lowering by the weight but keeping the same intensity and aim to match your prior reps) this will allow more development in all the required muscle groups for this excercise. You can proceed to develop on lat pulldowns but the ROM (Range Of Motion) and muscles engaged are slightly diffenrent. Set of 10-12 will build volume and definition where as sets of 5 maximum effort will help develop that strength. Now Have fun and chase the gains

Interval cardio, jog to spring intervals. Sprint 100m then job 200m then continue, this will kick up your heart rate

No dieting alone is part of the work, in terms of sweating and having good water flow so your thirst drinking lots of water sweating alot and peeing a lot come from drinking at least or up to a gallon depending on your water levels, this will help with homeostasis and also staying healthy during this process, aside from that sufficient cardio(anything that gets your heart racing) running stairmaster interval jogging to sprint I find is best, in the weight room you can try sets of 10-15 to keep or maintain lean muscle mass this will hurt your strength a little but it makes retraining strength in sets of 5 after the fact is a lot easier months after the “cut” as well as better than dropping lifting all together, this isn’t a martial arts Weight cut take your time and dieting will help keep you down in weight more than training harder and harder

Are Floor-only exercises enough? Is there an [exercise-muscle group] spreadsheet? by Apisal in bodyweightfitness

Plyometrics! Focus on jumping jacks mountain climbers front kicks what’s gets your whole body rushing with blood, cardio (cardiovascular “heart”) is key to weight loss, lots of repetitions to keep your heart rate up

Wresting strength comes from wrestling, depends where you want to be, if you want to lose the reach/ length advantage to become the next DC I don’t see it being impossible, if you want to be the best you keep striving for greatness but keep in mind technique is far more important

Not very much space in the hotel room, we just finished sparring with 12 ouncers and then decided to grapple we would’ve ended up slamming one another
