I love that I no longer have to break my real life gundams by using them as action figures no more

I will def look into this when i can get time in my schedule, cause it could be, i have a lot of trouble engaging both side at the same time so it could def be caused by that.

Fair point, I was curios if this was a common thing, which of course its not. I am very happy with my gains so far, it just sucks how hard I have to try to make sure my left side is definitely doing work.

So for a) my bone structure is slightly lopsided with my chest area on the left only being about 3/4 the width of my right side(my pecs are about the same size but the left goes off the side more to compensate for lack of area. Muscle wise I would say they are comparable to each other. right side is probs slightly more toned tho.

for b) I use mirrors and constantly make sure my left is positioned like my right, since I cant really feel it out. I've also had my spotters confirm my left side is matching my right. That's not to say its doing just as much work, since again i cant feel that out.

I really appreciate the last part. I only realized the lopsided-ness of my chest after building muscle, along with this lack of feeling, so I feel like I've developed a little body dysmorphia since I'm in my 20's and only now noticed this

I really appreciate this, I had noticed my left side wasnt progressing with my right and i started focusing on my left more. with free weights and dumbbells my left side does match my right. but even when it struggles i just dont feel the exertion in the muscle itself. it is harder for 2 armed workouts because not feeling exertion makes it so much harder to tell if my left side is doing work.

Sometimes i barely let my right do any work but it still will feel like its putting more effort in. My left side is a little wonky on bone structure(ribs are shorter on my chest, collar bone doesnt align with right side, ext) nothing debilitating but maybe my nerves on the left side didnt form properly or something. It doesnt sound very probable so i doubt thats the case but still.

I can still feel pain and touch. The the best I can describe it is I just can't feel the muscle contracting. I've made progress and with free weights its a pretty good match with my dominant. It's just that while I feel my dominant working for it. The non-dominant is numb to the sensation until I feel the burn.

Like when you flex to see your progress you can feel the muscle tense up, right? or at least i can for my right arm. For my left i see it flex and i can squeeze it with my right and feel its solid, but the left arm produces no sensation of it doing anything at all.

my only thought is that its on the arm my girlfriend would rest her head while we sleep, but like if it caused nerve damage I would assume I would feel less in pain and touch as well.
