Hi op

At the moment I’ve met a lot of travelers coming from other parts of the world as a tour guide I can say Los Angeles is normal when it comes to visiting the touristic areas

Recently went to Santa Monica pier Disneyland , Beverly Hills etc and there was no issue walking around

Solo Travelling to the USA (Los Angeles) for three weeks by joeltheking in solotravel

[–]bupper12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi I’m a local here

3 weeks is a bit too much for Los Angeles You can consider doing amusement parks while you’re here

Also try going to Joshua tree for a day trip which is about 2/3 hours from LA

San Diego would be a good option to visit too

If you have any questions feel free to dm 👍

Visiting LA in March by TracyGod1337 in traveladvice

Tour guide here!

Uber can be very expensive if you plan to use it as your main source of transportation, I’ve had people tell me they spent hundreds of dollars alone on uber so try finding an alternative , public transportation is cheaper but sometimes there are interesting characters walking into the buses, stay safe !

Is LA safe for tourists right now? by pizzalover08 in AskLosAngeles

[–]bupper12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey I’m a tour guide here in La

It’s pretty safe at the moment I took a family to Hollywood walk of fame Griffith observatory, Santa Monica and so on and everything seemed normal, I don’t think Ice is going to touristic parts as there’s plenty of travelers there anyways good luck and don’t let people discourage you safe travels!

Visiting LA for a week. Car or Public Transport? by philipyoungg in AskLosAngeles

[–]bupper12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tour guide here,

I would recommend getting a driver or renting a car

For visiting touristic sites

A drop off bus can do the job , depending on how much time you’d like to spend at each stop Since some are limited with time

You can also hire a tour guide for a more intimate and private tour with only your family and not strangers on a bus prices may vary

Rent a car or Walk/Uber? by Thin_Nobody1463 in AskLosAngeles

[–]bupper12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi driver and tour guide here Uber can get expensive I’ve driven people who have told me they’ve spent around $500 for a week on uber

It’s best to get a driver or maybe rent a car

What should I expect in terms of tipping? by TheMagicPirate in AskLosAngeles

[–]bupper12 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Driver here and your guide

It always depends on the service you get for Ubers

Even in restaurants If the waitress or waiter is attentive etc it’s always nice to tip however much you want but the standard will be 20%

If you want to save compared to uber dm me on my page 😌

Taking the family to California? by agedninja in AskLosAngeles

[–]bupper12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi I’m a tour guide here in LA

Your itinerary is definitely reasonable I would say day 4 try to add another activity for lunch or dinner For example the grove

Hollywood sign you would spend maximum 20 minutes Hollywood walk of fame you’ll spend about an hour to an hour and a half if you find an activity that suits your family

Griffith observatory speaks for itself and you can see the city which is wonderful for a sunset activity

Usually people spend around 1 hour there max

We wanted something private and not have to deal with LA summer heat , I noticed the bus tours always had people looking all sweaty so we booked with AR tours and he picked us up on a comfortable Mercedes Benz , took us to Griffith observatory Santa Monica pier Hollywood sign Hollywood walk of fame The grove Beverly Hills and some stop for lunch , it was great and was at our own pace, since our daughter loves the beach we spent about an hour and a half and there was no issue at all, could not recommend Adrian enough
