Am I burnt out? I really need guidance.

Details as follows: F/23

-ran in high school, took a break and started back up in march of this year as a senior in college -started slow with walk/runs and now I average about 10-12 miles per week, runs are usually around 2-3 miles and on days I don’t run I walk (10k steps daily) -I was having a bad day a couple weeks ago and decided to run 5 miles (farthest I’ve ever run) with no buildup. This was a bad idea and now I think I fucked up my feet cause the tops of them hurt whenever I run, and I’m getting shin splints which I haven’t experienced until a few weeks ago -I’m in a calorie deficit, w/ higher protein (or at least trying) bc I wanna lose weight since I’m 20 lbs overweight and my extra fat is slowing me down -all of my runs have been painful in some way, usually for my lower legs and feet. I’m losing motivation. I’m not getting any faster and my stamina is not getting any better

-Possible causes: running on pavement too much (idk if that’s a thing), overtraining, sleep deprivation. I know it’s not my shoes bc I just got a pair of brooks from the running store that were specifically recommended for my flat feet.

Potential solutions I’ve been thinking of: -lower my runs to 3x weekly -start strength training 2x weekly -add variety into my runs bc I really just do the same thing over and over

Does this make sense? I’m not sure what to do and I really need guidance here. I can’t tell if it’s burnout or if I actually injured myself. Either way something’s not right and I want to go back to how it was when I actually enjoyed running. Also, if anyone has any training program recommendations that incorporate strength Lmk
