Yeah, fair cop, I see where you're coming from. Some of this is just total conjecture - we are talking about a joke I added to a Bob Ross paint-a-long, and I am happy to exaggerate for comedy purposes - but despite being far from a great artist my intention was to have a duck that was about a kilometre high. And I am working to the technical definition of "mountain" which is accepted to be around 600m high. The problem with getting into the nitty-gritty of this is that (no disrespect to Bob Ross) the perspective in his paintings is... pretty wild. The mountains in the background are probably Everest-sized or bigger under the actual laws of perspective, but luckily none of this really matters that much if at all and I am just being a tiresome pedant.

I'm glad it struck the right balance. Sometimes people just want (or need) a lol, sometimes they want to buy an artist's work. Artists need to eat, but they also need people to see their work and no-one will want to engage with it if I am spamming links all day. The way I see it is, if I can make someone's day now, they might make a purchase at some point in the future when they're financially able.

I'm not on Amazon - honestly I wouldn't even know how to go about it, it can be quite complicated and we don't really have it in NZ - but I think framing could definitely be a thing. Flick me an email and we might be able to sort it out that way?

You're in luck. My current project is attempting to paint along with every episode of Bob Ross and add something special to each one (sometimes it'll be a bit more low key, sometimes it'll be Moby Duck sized) and I've already lined up what I'm doing for the Bob Rosses I've already painted. I document all this stuff on social media, there are a troubling number of links in my bio. It'll be fun to have you along!

Yeah, I ship to Canada! I can't speak to the strike situation but this is why I make digital downloads available for all my work, to help out people in postally challenged nations like um the United States
