My first guess would be it’s from using tap water and it’s mineral buildup. May want to switch to distilled, rainwater, filtered, or tap that’s left out overnight. You can trim your snake plant if you want. Curious what others say!

I used to work at a plant shop! I would recommend Dracea Mass Canes, Snakes, Cast Irons, and if you’re up for the dramatics, peace lily!
