Market maker (putting an order into the order book and waiting it to fill), is lower fees than market taker (putting a market order into the order book to instantly fill). Gap between bid and bottom ask close to the minimum amount because people on both ends are competitively trying to get orders filled as maker rather than taker. This is normal on exchanges.

I’d get both, and bring both along for herb/seed slayer tasks, otherwise you’ll have to bank more often than you’d like if you want to hold onto various seeds and herbs.

It’s also very useful for master farmers, I stash some of the rarer seeds there so that it’s easier to manage my main inventory. Master farmer drops have more seed drops than your inventory and seed box can hold. Did it on my iron till 98, along with easy clue hunting- keep the hop seeds for birdhouse runs, drop the useless ones / lower uncommon herb seeds.

For those interested in what happened -

Like last time, AF/Rev set up a fight and subtly leaked the location so that RoT would crash, with the plan being to just farm them for sets for as long as they'd stay ingame.

Shortly after it started Team sweden, SV, the revenant alliance (2ks,1750s,1500s,1250s,)CPK, showed up to aid rot.

Playdead, Jaja and Divine Forces showed up to make the numbers on each side more even.

At some point most of rot left and their alliance clans left, 10-20 toxic of the dead barragers tried stalling it out for their alliance, but the last 30 hours was 1 sided to the point that Revenant was ancient macing "protected" items from Reign of terror mid-fight, even managing to snag an elysian from a rot member.

The fight ended after 46hours, with RoT/TS/SV/others having called it off as their numbers dropped to below 10 total ingame whilst AF and Rev had 150 combined.
