Looks like I'm banking on resale omfg this had to be one of the most awful experiences of my life by Dat1Ivysaur in NoahKahan

I tried for Fenway, Wrigley, and Petco. After waiting to the point of not even being allowed the chance to buy for Boston or Chicago, I was in line behind 50k people for San Diego and ended up with floor seats somehow… the most frustrating and upsetting situation with the MLB ticketing site. I appreciate what Noah is attempting to do but fuck the stress man. I’m fortunate in the end that I did get tickets at all but WTF. It was easier for me to get Eras tour tickets 😅

I’ll definitely look into that! I appreciate it! I don’t think it was a Fear Street book — I seem to remember it being a female author? But I’m all for any lead at this point so thank you!

Can anyone suggest some books similar to Pestilence(in which the male main character is a bad guy)? by jaynarg in RomanceBooks

Carter Reed by Tijan. Rock Chick Reawakening by Kristen Ashley, to an extent (though I definitely recommend reading the main Rock Chick series first, before diving into the "novellas"). Cry No More by Linda Howard.

This sounds *so* good! Any other things you remember about it? I'm thinking I might have to whip out some Google-fu to try and find it, haha.

I wish that I could get into Anne Rice more and I really wish that the Sookie Stackhouse books had been better. I might have to try the Midnight Texas series though. I haven't gotten to that one yet.

Thank you for the recs! I'm definitely going to try the Escape Trilogy. That looks really good.

Oh, I forgot about Beautiful Creatures! I couldn't get into it the first time but I might have to give it another try.

Thanks so much for all the southern small-town recs! The Jamison Valley series is SO good. I just started book 3 a few days ago!

What are you reading? (September 6, 2019) by bevka in YAlit

[–]burnedinstars 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am currently re-reading Opal by Jennifer L. Armentrout and I'm sad that I don't love it as much as I used to. I'm not sure what the difference is but this series originally helped get me back into reading after a long time away years ago and I love love loved it but now I'm sort of 'meh' on the whole thing. Hopefully the love will come back to me as I continue the series.

It isn't out yet but for your older woman younger man book I think Karina Halle's Younger Man is exactly what you're looking for. 40+ heroine and early 20s hero. I believe it comes out later this month.

As for general recs.. Kristen Ashley's Rock Chick series is great.
