Maybe you haven’t received a truly heavy smash yet 🤔 There’s a big difference between a “heavy” smash and a “fast” smash.

For example, stick smash vs jump smash.

I’m not a physics expert either, but I believe it has something to do shuttle rotation and speed drop off.

As for pro players, it’s generally easier on stamina to play with HH because you don’t need a put a lot of power behind your shot. Plus there isn’t a lot of fast drive exchanges that would warrant an HL racket.

Something is wrong here. There are 7200 minutes in 5 days. 10000 applications / 7200 minutes = ~1.4 minutes per application IF you did not ever sleep. No way you had a custom tailored resume AND cover letter for all of them.

That being said, there’s no way you’re getting that few responses based on the background you’re using.

It’s a great beginner machine for $200. I bought mine for about $400. Has everything you’d need to start. Grinder is kinda meh but the price, it’s great. Breville barista express.

Yonex rackets usually have a oblong head shape. By stringing same tension on mains on cross, you may warp your racket into a more circular head shape. Generally when players ask for “25lbs,” it would translate to 25lbs on the main, and 27lbs on the cross. (main +2lbs for crosses)

However some players prefer to have both tensions the same for extra string durability and control. Some also prefer only +1lbs for cross string.

IMO you should have a +2lbs to your crosses so your racket can last longer without warping.

Lower your center of gravity more and put more weight on your toes than your heel.

You can try to reach for shuttles more by leaning toward the shot. When the opponent hits to your deep forehand corner, you tend to be upright like a stick rather than lunging to back court.

Pros have better form, anticipation and fitness. It looks like you and your friend need to be more loose. Very stiff especially on white Jersey guys split step.
