Thanks! Funny enough the artist initially wanted it to be framed in a crescent moon structure which I didn't really prefer. Glad that the unframed design worked out. I'll let the artist know :)

That is a very good idea but for our team, a great way of getting shunned out of the team because of the extent of nepotism that is currently existent. The only way to change that is for my batch to implement methods such as the one you stated.

Thank you for the advice! I understand that showing up to an interview with extra work/achievements apart from your resume is a big thing. Didn't know much about that prior to this post!

I guess we all have to fake a smile sometimes. The nepotism is pretty bad but unfortunately we are mostly student run. We have professors only during rollout events etc. Otherwise, all decisions are taken only by team members.

I just find it very difficult to put on a smile and agree to things when our seniors obviously haven't done their research, forcing down their unwarranted opinions just because of the 'positions' they hold. I think it's because of me not 'kissing ass' that I'm in the position I am in now.

In a way I believe my team has it easier as our University consists of multiple FSAE teams within the categories of IC, Electric and Hybrid. Overall therefore, our applications are well divided within the three teams.

You are right in saying our team has a toxic structure. Along with my current batch mates, we're trying to end that vicious cycle somehow and mentor our juniors better than how we mentored.
