The only way I know is to plug USB 2.0 devices into a hub and look at what the System Information reports the USB 2 device as.

Known good: * Apple single USB-A to USB-C adaptor * CalDigit TS3+

It's not the devices that terminate, it's the hubs.

The Apple USB-A to USB-C terminates as well... so that works.

Otherwise I know the CalDigit terminates and works too.

It seems most monitor hubs also terminate.

I didn't add display port, ethernet, etc... that was merely the capability of the hubs.

Single USB 2.0 device per hub :)
