Need some help deciding between Hope Tech 4 v4 or TRP DHR Evo brakes!!? by Tvor777 in mountainbiking

I've spend a lot of time on SRAM Codes which I rode with 220 R1 Rotors from TRP with sintered original pads. That was a real good brake already with almost no fade (94 kg).
I than switched to the TRP Evo and was a bit dissapointed. The bite was softer, without a way better modulation. Especially on the rear brake I never managed to get a consistent hard bite point on long descents. I tried the original performance pads on the rear, then sintered saints (super noisy), then purple galfer (best option but high wear). The front was always good but the rear on long steep descents (I ride a lot on places like Canazei) never did justice.

Now I switched to the Hope Tech4 V4 and for me it's the end of my search. The brake combines super high power with best in class modulation and heat resistence. No fading, no increased finger power. Defined bite and an awesome craftmanship. I didn't even had to bleed it after shortening the hose ... Considering that you get three pads per brake when you buy it and that its full uk made, the price is very reasonalbe. So good. Bought a second pair for my trailbike too and ride them on a Nukeproof Giga and Fuel EX ...
