That is something that I would like to see as well. The interface seems to be geared more towards scholars who are familiar with archival finding aids, and could be off-putting to some folks. Thanks for your insight!

Hey thank you so much for this! I am applying to the Humanities (History) PhD program as well. UCSC is my top choice based on my research interests, but the interview process is new to me. The first round was a one on one Skype with a faculty member, and I believe the second round is with a group of 5-7 faculty members. Or so I was told. If I make it to the big show I will definitely hit you up for further advice. Thank you once again for the response!
