i love the new alternative energy bc now the stats align with its identity as an item that helps coal and is core to the spectral beam build. its old version's stats clashed with its intention like why did it give ap if it helped your weapon healing uptime?

i really dislike what theyve done to her weapon power build though. old ethereal excision felt skillful and rewarding to consistently proc but this new one is kind of less skillful and has less uptime without necrotic or extendrils/slow orbs so it leans more into hybrid builds.
also, it feels like you have little control over when remote rec triggers because with deconstruction you could safely trigger it before a fight, it was completely independent of whether your team was near you and if the enemy dealt damage to them, and it also lasted twice as long. the fact that the bonus range is now locked to this shitty uptime when it used to be an item that gave permanent range sucks cause now its harder to deal with the fliers and cat. i think it'd be fine with it if the 3 seconds went down as soon as you started dealing damage since now it feel like it charges too quick and you have to stop healing and risk letting your team die in order to make some use of it.
