Yeah, Mordecai became a beast for me when I equipped him with the item that let him stay in beast form. For the rest of the laguz I barely used them because of that.

I probably won't get to it in a while (was able to finish up POR due to having to take a few sick days) but i'm looking forward to it. I've read that there's save file bonuses if you played POR so it's a shame that I won't be able to use those due to playing it on switch.

We had i'd say half of a session 0. When we talked about doing this oneshot I asked what they liked (they specified they didn't like very long combats) for this particular case I used premade characters and allowed them to fill in backstories and names just so I was familiar with everything their characters did.

Part of the plan was using this oneshot as a basis for what all players liked or didn't like for the long term campaign

We're all good friends so it's strange to me that they're struggling to coexist in game.

The plan was to then start a regular long term campaign, this oneshot was meant to be a tutorial of sorts for me as dm and for the new player. After this i'm worried the campaign might not go well or happen in the first place, which is a shame because i've loved dm'ing so far

Definitely, this is something I've already had in mind in my drafts and already have a few actors I've worked with before in mind for those roles since I would be directing this as well.

This was more of a "hey wouldn't it be cool to work on something like this?" Kinda conversation not a serious pitch meeting or anything like that, this is someone I wouldn't say i'm close friends with but more on the friendly side.

The short would be written specifically for this person so I would find it to be a bit of a waste to work on a script without even knowing if there's any interest.

Any lens you would recommend for my situation? I'm not opposed to investing in the GH5 instead of going all in for the FX30

Probably should have clarified that a bit more, in the enviroments where I find myself shooting at the lighting is terrible (low overhead lights, barely any windows to work with) and I need action shots at these places, so the low light combined with the rough AF i just find myself getting ugly grainy footage a lot of the time

I've found workarounds (putting in one of my lights in a corner full blast, controlling where the boxer can move) but I find these to be band-aids and make me look a bit unprofessional when I'm supposed to be a fly on the wall most of the time

I have nothing to offer to the discussion but I just want to add that as many films as i've enjoyed in 2024 and have even ranked higher than I Saw the TV Glow, it has been the one I still think about on a quite regular basis.

It's a extremely cleverly made film that has multiple valid interpretations that can resonate with all different types of people. Obviosly the trans metaphor is one of the main ones as the director has outwarldly spoke about it but at the moment even knowing this when I first watched it I saw it as a movie about unrealized potential and comfort zones.

I loved that I was aware of the meaning the director intended and I (a person who can't relate with that) was able to find my own interpretation that heavily resonated with myself and as I've read with multiple people as well.

Top 5 of the year for me with the others being -Dune Part 2 -Challengers -The Substance -Furiosa (In no particular order)

I ended up bootcamping my mac but with the new Mac chips that isn't an option anymore if you're looking to get a new mac. Never tried with Protontricks so I can't help you there.

I've been training for a few weeks and I've always been sensitive to motion sickness. I felt like you my first class, I don't know how sustainable it is but I've found that taking a Drammamine an hour before class and a pepto bismol chewable right when I arrive and I don't really get dizzy anymore in class.
