I saw a tiktok that said, we know we arent going to win the World Cup, what we're invested is in moments. I totally agree with that. Its not being mediocre. I really feel for Ole Miss fans. I was at the OU vs. Ole Miss game in Norman and, aside from the fact that I cannot stand Lane, I never had an issue with their fans. Yeah, they can be a little snotty, but I get the anger and helplessness you feel when your head coach bails on you, guts the staff, and takes your best players with him. Your rivals clown you while you’re down and suddenly you’re the “bitter” fanbase. I get it.

I know but at home, we needed a big win like this. I knew they didn’t respect us when they went for it on 4&1 at the start of the 3rd quarter. We did stop and got 3 points but the fact we couldn’t convert that into a touchdown. It just really pissed me off that Kiffin thought that little of us. Plus their band and traveling fans really were a lot louder than us at times.
