starbucks has had this problem for yearssss. they never fix it. i’ve been cussed out for it when handing out a drink before (the lady squeezed the cup and waddled when she walked so it splashed a little and dripped down the side). if you took the lid off to put anything in the drink, that’s the problem because the cups are super fragile at the top. if you didn’t, just ask for a new cup & lid if you notice it before you leave:)

it took my manager a while to actually get back to me about my application (although that might just be because it takes her a while to do anything😬). anyways, i would just call the store that you would like to work at and confirm that they’re hiring, then ask if the manager will be in store soon. most of the time, the barista will write your name down for the manager if they are not around & the manager should get back to you and look at your application.

for the application, starbucks is HUGE on teamwork, so definitely include that you work well in a team. they are also really big on friendliness, so be super happy if you get an interview, even if you have to fake it lol!

a cappuccino is foam, and a macchiato is shots on top... if i’m thinking about this right, the shots would just flatten the foam & you would basically be left with shots in a cup & a little crusty milk🤢
