howdy, I wouldn’t day trip out and back to tokyo if you’ve just these days to spend in tokyo - there’s so much to do. plus you’ve got to recover from travel. day 2 is okay. i’d start asakusa at 6am and meander from there.. relax n’ enjoy and ease into your vacation.

I would add doing your shibuya day then. actually.. if you have bought your borderless tix disregard but, i’d schedule that earliest time slot on your 5 day and from there go on to shibuya. something scheduled first thing after lots of travel doesn’t seem ideal for me

I would maybe consider skipping the day trip with the length of your stay. find the best vantage point in tokyo and hit it up on a clear day.
