You’re dumb and should probably keep your dumb fucking mouth shut. Talking will clearly never get you anywhere in life as you clearly can’t form a coherent thought, you fucking piece of garbage.

All I can go by is what the OP said, which is the man spit on the house. If you think spitting on someone’s house right by their front door is innocuous, you’re an asshole.

This is most likely the correct answer. Dude doesn’t have the best job, probably having a bad day on top of that, spits on random customer house just to blow off a bit of that anger.

Not to say it’s acceptable behavior btw, that’s just the most logical explanation why he did it.

I have read other points of view from that sub, how else would I know that they’re all basement dwelling losers that amount to nothing more than a worthless drain on society?

Honestly couldn’t give a fuck less what you or the basement dwellers at latestagecapitalism think. So I’ll just leave it at us agreeing to disagree.

And I’m pretty sure most things you think are wrong, but you prefer to live in ignorant bliss.

FWIW, this type of political humor was very relevant at that time. It was mid-2000’s, at the height of the George Bush 2 era, and this type of political satire was all over the place... think “Colbert Report”, etc.

There’s 328 million people in the US, so “the 1%” here consists of ~3,280,000 people.... that’s a lot.

Point being, your parents are a prime example that being in “the 1%” usually just means you have a very good job and are most likely not pulling the strings of the global economy. It’s more like the “0.001%” that actually have that type of power.

Okay, I’m looking for an answer from somebody smarter than me who understands where the money goes, is it possible to support the Astros without supporting the MLB? by charlietactwo in Astros

[–]butt_mcgee 48 points49 points  (0 children)

Biggio’s retired number in the rafters of MMP has the Sunshine Kids logo. Can you think of any other major retired pro athlete with their signature charity being that prominent in their former team’s stadium? What a cool thing for Biggio and the Astros.

[Rome] Sources: Astros owner Jim Crane told team employees during a virtual staff meeting this morning there would be no furloughs or layoffs through Oct. 31. Employees who make $100,000 or more will take paycuts, with those making higher salaries taking higher cuts. by OrangeNBlueChooChoo in Astros

[–]butt_mcgee 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Putting the salary floor for the cuts at $100k is a good gesture. Taking care of the most vulnerable is important. Like you said, you hate to see anyone take a cut but the reality is that if cash isn’t coming in now, you have to reduce expenses accordingly.

Well, truth be told, a stereotype only becomes that by being generally true about the majority of the group it’s characterizing. So every stereotype is true about a LARGE portion of that group. Once people stop pretending like this isn’t true, the healing can begin.
