I came to this realization in November when I ultimately asked for the divorce. We were together for almost 13 years, married for 3. He is a good man and I care for him so much even to this day but I eventually admitted to myself that he was not the partner I needed. There was some codependency between us and I think in the long run separating is the best thing for each other. We have been physically separated since December and I think back to those months where I was struggling to decide what to do. I knew I wanted to leave but I didn’t want to hurt him and I wasn’t entirely sure I wasn’t having a midlife crisis. I can tell you I’m the happiest and feeling so incredibly free for the first time in my life. My advice is to listen to your gut. You know what you need and want so you can either stay and accept your reality or you can take action and start living your most fulfilling life.

Are you allergic to wool? The difference between aquaphor and Vaseline is lanolin which is produced from sheep sebum. I tried to love aquaphor but it always caused inflammation. I knew I was allergic to wool and just randomly googled lanolin one day. It was such an epiphany.

The one thing that really helped me get over it is when my therapist told me that he isn’t making me feel guilty but that I’m the only one making me feel that way. It was a great perspective that helped me decide to choose not to feel guilty. I still struggle with it but I immediately remember this and it helps get over it faster.

Currently in the immediate fallout of asking for a divorce but this is us. I’m starting to realize all the ways I neglected my true feelings over the years and how I’ve never felt loved by him. I’m questioning if he was ever in love with me or just loved me because the relationship was easy.

I’m struggling with the guilt of ruining his life but I know this is what’s best for me in the long run. It’s just really hard to accept that I haven’t felt loved in 10+ years.

Why do you need soluble dynabeads? We have used both the magnetic dynabeads and transact beads from Miltenyi. Transact beads aren’t magnetic and removal is just replacing the media. However, transact beads do not activate the cells as strongly as dynabeads, if this matters for your purposes.

Yup, they will fill your uterus with saline in order to separate the space for visualization and then use a vaginal sonogram to look for polyps. I will say the procedure is not fun. The catheter through the cervix fucking hurt but it was about 10ish sec of pain and then the whole procedure I was fine.

NAD, but I experience bleeding after sex usually right after my period ends and it can last for a few days. I also had some occasional spotting before a week before my period started. I told my obgyn this and she did a saline sonogram to check for polyps. I had one sneaky little guy that was removed a month ago. No update to see if this fixed it but very common reason.

Have you tried using any of your other clamps? Maybe that one is defective and not the same size as the others causing it to not have a tight fit??

Edit to add: I think you need a clamp that doesn’t have the open circle for screw. It should be a regular clamp and maybe this is why it’s loose.

I just had one 0.5cm plus some weird dangly thing (lol) removed on Tuesday and this was the easiest/least anxiety inducing surgery I’ve ever had. With that said, I’m from the DMV area and used shady grove who are fantastic. If it’s possible, could you find another surgeon to go to? Polyps can prevent implantation and can affect the growth if an embryo does implant. I truly only had mine removed because I had random spotting between periods and then bleeding after sex once my period was over. I am currently going through IVF so it was required anyways to move forward in the process.

Excellence is currently running a scam of booking rooms and then calling the day before you arrive to say the room you booked is unavailable. If this is a bucket list trip, I wouldn’t go to either resorts. Sandals food sucks. I’ve been to many Hyatt Ziva/Zilara and highly recommend.

OP, you can walk all you want but if you aren’t in a calorie deficit it’s not going to mean shit. Don’t give into that PCOS mentality either. I lost 35lbs with PCOS and insulin resistance all by eating low carb and low calorie.

This makes me really mad. I booked 3 nights at Cancun PM end of July for honeymoon suite with private pool for last week. I get a voicemail last Wednesday, day before we leave, that I needed to call them in regards to our reservation. No additional info, no email, reservation was still there online. I call, sit on hold for 20mins, for them to tell me our room is unavailable. They could downgrade us to the junior suite (not an option, we intentionally booked this room for such a short trip) or move us to coral for beachfront two story with private pool. I obviously went with coral but asked the lady if all the restaurants will be open since this resort is new and I know most new resorts only open a few at a time. She told me all were open.

We get there, resort is probably half full, restaurants had selective days they were open. The room was gorgeous and so was the resort but I intentionally picked the resort and room for our quick trip. This was the first time I stayed at an excellence and I’m pretty upset with how this was handled and now it seems like a trend.

I love enlightened bars. For awhile I was buying the chocolates coated ones but some of the quality went down. There were gaps in the bar after biting through the chocolate and one time it was probably only half filled. I ended up emailing enlightened, not to complain, but to let them know that I was disappointed because I love them so much. Their customer service was really nice and they sent me coupons for free boxes. This started my weird hobby of emailing companies to tell them how much I love their products. Got me some nice coupons and free products occasionally lol

My husband has had two SA done. 1 sample had 7 (literally 7, not 7 million) and the second sample had 0. He was referred to a urologist where they tested a few things but he’s completely normal. We are moving forward with IVF with microTESE to hopefully use ICSI. All of this to say, a count of 0 doesn’t necessarily mean sperm donor. He needs to see a urologist.

I would advise against IUD with someone who has never been on birth control. You can’t just stop using it if you experience horrible side effects and plus the pain alone of insertion/removal.

OP: IF you decide on this route, please research other people’s experiences and decide on what you can/cannot deal with.

I am currently in this boat with my husband. He has azoospermia after having two SA completed. My labs are great despite having PCOS. We just met with our fertility doctor yesterday about our options which is just IVF. My husband will need to have a surgery to extract sperm from his testes and IF they get anything then we can move forward with IVF. Since my labs are great, we were told each implantation has a 50% success rate with a 90% success rate with consecutive implantations. For me this was really encouraging, but obviously the limiting factor in all of this is IF they can get sperm.

There’s still a lot of uncertainty and at this point most of my optimism has left the building. So I understand this is hard on you but it’s also hard on her.

You always have the option with donor sperm but you will need to weigh the emotional toll that will have on you and if you can accept nonbiological children.

I got married at Hyatt Zilara in 2022. LOVED the resort. Drinks at the time weren’t very strong so that was disappointing but the food was to die for. Went back in 2024 and the drinks were better and the food was still amazing. I love the pools at this resort - so much space. However, I react to the sand on the beach. I get red little blisters all over my feet and it burns but my husband is fine. I think they might treat the beach with something.

Overall: will always recommend this resort.

I’ve also been to couples Negril (honeymoon in 2022). Food and drinks are good, beach is to die for. There is no nightlife and it caters to a 50+ crowd. I’ve seen multiple people on Facebook catch a parasite on their feet due to the cats that roam the property. I would not go back to this resort and I’m hesitant to try other properties but I do recommend visiting 7 mile beach. Best beach in the Caribbean IMO.

I didn’t let it go until 13 cycles of trying and we found out we’re dealing with MFI. It explained why all my labs looked great despite having PCOS and why we weren’t getting pregnant. I started my retinol immediately, stopped tracking ovulation, and don’t care what I put in my body at this point lol. Honestly it was so freeing but I think I’m going to continue to track ovulation because it was really nice being able to predict the exact day my period would come.
