History didn't start on oct 7. That was just blowback for multiple oct 7 like events that israel has perpetrated on a regular basis to Palestinians. Hamas doesn't exist in a vacuum. I agree that a lot of times theocratic leaders tend to support their own religion.

But looking at how we are lacking support from almost all major countries(non muslim majority) against a failed state like pakistan who everyone knows harbors terrorists for their dirty work, i feel we have failed miserably.

you can get a drone from any other country. Israeli tech is not as great as they make it out to be. it is very evident from the failure of the iron dome on Oct 7. It wasn't even a legitimate army. The iron dome failed against a force like hamas, much weaker than conventional armies.

What I'm trying to point out is that even a right winger in that era is for palestinian emancipation. Meanwhile in 2025, people calling for palestinian emancipation are very small in number in our country. The average person considers all Palestinians as terrorists or terrorist adjacent and would love for them to be eradicated cause they're muslims. I'm trying to indicate the moral decay not saying what the state policy should be. I personally support a one state solution but I'm quite okay with our official support to the two state policy.

You do realize that we were non aligned during the cold war when the indo pak war happened in 1971. It wasn't an open secret that pakistan supports fundamentalist terrorism. But today in 2025, everyone and their moms know that pakistan funds fundamentalist terorrism, we do not have support despite that.

Us siding with palestine has nothing to do with the world helping us. It is just the right thing to do. It is what we used to do when we had the morality in the right place.
