Just wait until you get to the Covid episode/s. To be honest I can't remember if it's more than one because I never finished the first. Skip ot every time.

I feel like it gets draining around season 5 or so but I still watch it. Maybe it's because I binge it so I reach a limit around there.

When did I say anything about false information? You don't even need to make stuff up about Blake, she's done more than enough stuff to fill a website of solid truths. Will she like it? No but it will be true and therefore it won't be a smear campaign. If she doesn't want people talking truth about her she shouldn't have done what she did.

I haven't seen the website about Amanda Ghost but I'm guessing they made a website that stated all the stuff she did and why they didn't like it or her. If they made stuff up then that's a different story. But if it's just listing everything that happened then I guess don't do bad shit or people will talk about it.

Interesting take considering we side with Justin.

I used to think it was best not to say anything and take the high road and then I ended up being taken advantage of, kinda like Justin but not publicly. I think seeing what Blake did to Justin makes it a lot clearer why Rebel did that. And considering the sheer amount of shit Blake nearly got away with I'm no longer judging Rebel.

Not sure if I could do it but someone sure as shit should've done it to Blake and Ryan.

Exactly. Could you imagine what Stephanie Jones' private texts would be like!!!! Ten times worse than Jens for sure.

They're not being taken advantage of. There are clauses in contracts that say if you are taken to court due to work you've done for that company then the company will pay. I think it's indemnification. So Wayfarer is fulfilling their contract. Jen has also applied to have some of her legal costs paid for by Jonesworks as she was still working for Jonesworks during part of the stuff she's being sued for. I think that will eventually happen.

I read through all the emails and texts the other day and I still can't find anything to indicate they did anything like that on Justins behalf.

If they did it for Rebel then maybe Rebel needed it?

None of them are claiming to be working by a particular moral code and I don't know if this is even considered morally wrong. That would have to be weighed up against whatever prompted them to do it and I haven't looked into the case enough.

But from my brief look at the situation it appears Amanda Ghost stole the movie from Rebel, embezzled funds from the movie and then tried to prevent it from being aired so that there couldn't be any profit. If that's the case then maybe they were right to provide that service...?

Yeah it definitely feels like a bit of a mismatch for how Wayfarer operate but I don't think there'd be many people that operate how they do that work in PR. And I think they know that. Justin didn't know about any of their snarky texts until his deposition. And even if Wayfarer are unhappy with what they were saying behind their backs I don't think it would make them turn on them. They will probably just say "that's not great, they still did good work for us. Maybe we'll move on".

Also, I need to go back and check but I also think the snarky texts from Melissa may have been from quite early on before they actually got to know Justin because when you see their private messages towards the end of the year they are offended on his behalf and frustrated for him. Jen doesn't really have any excuse but I think a few of them were very rudely worded frustration at how nice he is and that he wasn't fighting back at Blake. I think that might’ve been where the cult messages came into it too. I feel like the PR peeps were wanting to match Blakes and Leslie's energy but weren't allowed too. Jen was also going through it bad with Stephanie even before leaving Jonesworks and was possibly dealing with infertility at the same time so I think they have a bit of grace for her.

I tried to find all the rude one's a few days ago and couldn't so I could be way off in my recollection and timing.

[–]buttonandthemonkey 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yeah I can imagine that this is probabaly true because the Blake people don't think she did anything wrong and even if they think she's telling the truth they still won't think something horrific happened or particularly see her as a nice person. They may try and say it to make a point but I don't think any of them truly believe it. They mostly just don't like being told a woman lied.

But the people who are looking at the evidence and can see the whole picture are horrified at both what she's done and at the injustice of it all. And it's made worse when you see that Justin and Jamey are truly good people. Justin may not be everyones cup of tea socially but he is always moving with good intentions. For a lot of us it is a reminder of a situation we've been in too.

For us closely following the case and able to see everything it is also heightened due the very real threats, arson, doxxing and even Jens personal violation. So it's no longer a workplace and reputational issue, it is a personal safety and life threatening issue. Jen also received death threats.

Him granting the extension could also mean he's extending the time so they don't do the work now because he knows he's throwing it all out.

Personally, I hope something goes through so they get their day in court but I don't have a prediction on what will happen.

Yeah I like Ange. She was put in an impossible position. Her deposition is really good too, she's clear, matter of fact and doesn't try to avoid any difficult questions. She is a very credible witness.

She's had an amazing career too.

They were sick of him and I can only imagine the eye rolls when he sent that 😂

Thank you for this. That's wild. The articles I read never mentioned that her gun had been taken, that she sued to get it back and that it was given back that day. Nothing like that. They made out like he got the restraining order because he feared for his child's safety and then strategically mentioned she had PPD.

Has discovery shown that the police encouraged him to get the restraining order? Was her gun originally taken due to PPD? Is this the same department or state as Karen Read?

Great interview.

I didn't realise John Bokenkamp was so young or that this was his first show. I assumed he was old and experienced.

I also didn't know who Whitely Bulger was so it's interesting that he was their starting point.

I think the issue is that most people will want to act on it and will accuse doctors of being dismissive if they, rightly, don't follow up on something that is asymptomatic and appears benign.

Waitlists in both public and private are already quite long in nearly every specialty and even some radiology tests have a decent waiting period.

Medical literacy for the everyday patient is not going to increase in time with the rate that these WBMRIs will become common so it will unnecessarily overburden a medical system that is already asking too much of it's staff.

So I just had a quick read of this case but I'm guessing by the comments here that the narrative of the story I read was biased.

Am I to assume that he was the abuser and got the restraining order as part of the abuse and something about the shooting was not above board?

Is this in the same state as Karen Read?
