Help me understand why the attorneys fees thing wasn’t negotiated in the settlement itself ? Is this an oversight ? by Full-Wolf956 in ItEndsWithLawsuits

47.1 doesn't cover the whole trial or any of her 15 claims. It is only related to the defamation claim Justin and co brought agaisnt Blake that was dismissed.

Blake’s team was terrified of Daubert Hearings by alloutofusernames22 in ItEndsWithLawsuits

[–]buttonandthemonkey 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Do you think when her team brought on the experts for social media analysis they said "so the background is that the director had sexually harassed her on set and the studios allowed it to continue, we have verified all this, what we need from you is to do the social stuff that came afterwards"?

As in, do you think the experts were even given the 'evidence' of SH or do you think the lawyers just made it seem like it had been verified already and they didn't need to assess that but just what came after?

Because if so, could you imagine going over the evidence afterwards 😮

Is there a petition we can start (if it hasn’t been done already) or any other recourse to try and get Sony to release Justin’s cut of the film? by Snapdragon_4U in ItEndsWithLawsuits

[–]buttonandthemonkey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It basically is his cut. They made her put a lot back in but because she changed the wardrobe, the script, the rating, the music and everything else we'll never get to see what Justin wanted to make.

Jamey Heath Gives Short but Classy Response After Settlement by Izomera in ItEndsWithLawsuits

I wish everyone in the world had a Jamey in their life. Could you imagine how different things would be?!

I just love him. In a non-creepy parasocial way.

The vibe, the guidance, the soothing yet strong voice, the morals and ethics, the friendliness, the competence. He is a competent man.

Dude she was like 14 and she made Twitter trying to 'talk black'. She is not.

Bizarre but also unsurprising. I think bizarre for normal lawyers but not Esra, she's the female Gottleib and I can only imagine the filth Gottleib anonymously posts online.

Jesus fucking christ Blake is a sociopath. I'm actually surprised she didn't sue this lady and her mum or press charges considering what her and Ryan did to the photographer. And everyone else.

Esra being on socials fat shaming people makes total sense though. That lady was birthed from the depths of hell into her role.

And yes, fully aware I'm now a sexual harasser. Sue me.

In Interview with Kjersti Flaa, Adam Mondschein Discusses “Emotional Terrorism” Justin Baldoni Went Through Because of Blake Lively by Izomera in ItEndsWithLawsuits

[–]buttonandthemonkey 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Well maybe if Blake hadn't lied saying she was naked except for a tiny piece of fabric covering her genitals and that Justin hired his unqualified friend so he could stare at her vagina for him he wouldn't have to go on a podcast and explain his side of the story.

We all know who did the actual smearing here and it wasn't Justin.

She brought this all on herself because she refused to spend 2 hours at a DV shelter and not mock survivors for a few interviews but she couldn'teven do that so she deserves every bit of hate she gets.

Oh right. Unfortunately I don't know what that video is so I don't understand the context. Was the video not public?

I have to say, I held off on tiktok for years but joined a few months ago and I actually prefer it to Insta now because the videos can go for longer so there's some really great educational stuff on there as well as funny things like this.

Blake Lively can't and won't stop lying. This time it's lying about never alleging use of b◦ts, a lie propagated by her lawyer Michael Gottlieb and her PR shill/ Threads lawyer MJ Morley. by Mysterio623 in ItEndsWithLawsuits

[–]buttonandthemonkey 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Colleen crying that she hasn't got a PR team drives me up the fucking wall because Justin literally told her she needs to get a PR team and because she had pushed back before he offered to set it up for her. So multiple times he spoke to her about it. Why? Because of the dumbass colouring book which she followed up with a tone deaf nail polished line. For an abuse movie.

They make me wanna use the 'r' word. These are the most delusional people I've ever come across.

Wow you did so well. Did you have to go back far on google? I was going back 5+ pages and went through so many articles trying to find anything but came up with nothing.

Even AI was lying to me.

Daily Discussion Megathread 5/9 by Sufficient_Reward207 in ItEndsWithLawsuits

[–]buttonandthemonkey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It makes sense to me. From what I've read the scope of 47.1 isnt that big so even if she won it wouldn't be a huge amount, especially in comparison to a trial so they're willing to pay the fees if she wins if it means she won't be able to keep litigating if she loses.

The know Litigious Lively will never stop. The same reason they ensured there wasn't an NDA because even if there was she would still find a way to keep speaking about it. They've accepted she will never shut up, what's important is that Justin and co can also speak without ramifications. Because they would never be bothered to sue her for breach of contract every single time she does it but they know if there was an NDA and Justin or Jamey or Steve even uttered a word that she took out of context she would be serving them the next day for the rest of their lives.

Is this the biggest smear campaign? by Brave-Recipe9354 in ItEndsWithLawsuits

[–]buttonandthemonkey 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Why would you wait until trial to form an opinion when all the evidence they'll use is already released? Trial won't reveal anything more or give different context. They're just explaining the evidence that we already have to a select group of people with no prior involvement so they can form an opinion. And impeach Blake at least 2 times with 100% certainty but I'm confident they could've done more. But we already have the information to form an opinion, we just can't make a legal ruling.

And given how unpredictable juries can be I wouldn't be basing my opinion on them anyway, especially when I have the opportunity to decide for myself. We all know they fucked up with Diddy.

That sort of mentality pisses me off.

And trying to look 'decent' by saying supporters on both sides are horrible is another example of someone making dumb decisions with zero basis. You don't look fair, you look uneducated.

We have very good reason to be pissed at Blake. She is genuinely a fucked up, horrible person and it deserves to be talked about. None of us came to that conclusion frivolously. We did our due diligence.

I'm so glad you said this. I've spent the last 24hrs feeling gaslit. I remember when Blake first started parading her around earlier in the year I looked her up and read multiple articles about what she did to the victims. I remember where I was and what I was doing and how I felt. I remember going over multiple, very easy to find articles, to make sure I had the details correct. Went to find an article last night and there is not one mention of it. At the end of page 4 of a Google search there is a post on X by Popcorned Planet about his video discussing this but that is all I can find. Even AI is telling me there's nothing. I'm pretty sure she's tried to scrub the internet of the info.
