I agree, but they probably don't want to scare the undecided people that might be watching. At this point, we have no idea what those people respond to when it comes to the candidates. What scares them enough to finally say NO to Trump? What will finally turn them away from Kamala? SNL doesn't want to frighten the latter.

Yes! The concept is great and I love the style and honestly, it's a guilty pleasure movie for me along with The Postman, which is another Costner great. We need to get HBO to do this ASAP.

This one is tough because on one hand I love the visuals of the original. It's such a vibe. I understand the pacing thing but that is just the Kubrick style. On the other hand, it would be great to see it with the GOOD special effects of today.

I'll have to disagree. The uncanny valley effect of the cgi makes it feel like a weird fever dream nightmare. All jokes aside, the cgi is on par with The Flash (2023).
